Books I’ve Read but not Reviewed
Yes, this is a book review site but sometimes I completely forget to review books. My bad. I do however, have some favourite, and not so favourite, books I’d like to share with you. As of 2019 (late-ish) these are the books I’ve read (up to and including in 2019) that made it to my all-time greatest list.
The List
In no particular order…
- The Forever War by Joe Haldeman
- Stone by Adam Roberts

You Didn’t Like Book X?
Yeah, so I’ve read a view “classic” and award winning sci-fi books and hated disliked them for one reason or another. Disliked is a bit strong, I just didn’t like them as much as I wanted/hoped to. Here’s that list…
- Old Man’s War by John Scalzi
- The Well of Stars by Robert Reed
- Netwon’s Wake: A Space Opera by Ken MacLeod
- The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin
- Cosmonaut Keep by Ken MacLeod

- Halting State by Charles Stross
- Marrow by Robert Reed
- Iron Sunrise by Charless Stross
- A Fire Upon the Deep by Vernor Vinge
- Hyperion by Dan Simmoons

- The Quantum Thief by Hannu Rajaniemi
- The Freeze-Frame Revolution by Peter Watts
- Velocity Weapon by Megan E. O’Keefe
- Children of Time by Adrian Tchailkovsky
Re-Read and Review
I don’t typically re-read books unless it’s been years and I have nothing on new on the list - it’s kindof like Netflix, with so many new things to watch I don’t get a chance to watch everything I want in a timely manner, let alone re-watch great TV.
But that being said, I’ll try to pick up one or two and given the read mainly so I can jot down my thoughts the second time around for a good review.
